Tuesday June 5th, 2018

Here is what we did today:

Agendas and Morning Meeting

Language: We had a busy language period with a lot of tasks to keep us on track!

Recess/Lunch

We continued language for 30 more minutes.


Math: Today we learned about probability! We spoke about the language we used when talking about probable and improbable situations/event. We came up with some examples as a class: 

It is possible and likely that Ms. Chiappetta will eat a cupcake today.
It is possible but unlikely that it will snow tomorrow.
It is possible that it will rain tomorrow.

We did a worksheet with a partner and took it up as a class. We also completed some textbook questions.


Recess/Lunch

 UOI: Today we learned about soil erosion! We spoke about how it impact people and the environment. We also discussed how to prevent the damage from erosion. We watched a video:

Then we conducted an experiment with soil, water, ice and air as a class! We had a lot of fun!


 

Homework and Important Updates:

 Tomorrow is a medal ceremony for our first, second and third place track and field place winners. It starts at 9am and everyone is welcomed to attend.
