Language: Today we practiced context clues! We did a bunch of examples together on how to investigate passages/stories to understand the meaning of difficult words. The students completed a package and we took it up as a class.
Recess/Lunch
Math: Today we learned about rotations! This was a tricky concept so we practiced together on the carpet. We learned that a shape can change direction; clockwise or counter clockwise. It can turn once (1/4 turn), twice (1/2 turn) or three times (3/4 turn). Just like a clock! We did a practice exit ticket before doing textbook questions.

UOI:We continued to work on our summatives.
