Inquiry into Language:Today we finished our novel study!! We were so sad to finish such an amazing book. We worked on some comprehension questions after the read aloud.
Reading Buddies: We read with our friends in Ms. King's class.

UOI: We worked on our summative paragraphs. We went over the checklists to ensure we were including all the important supporting facts.

Inquiry into Math: Today we reviewed some probability concepts like how to show for probability and what is a fair spinner. Then we explored making predictions and comparing them to actual results. We learned how to make predictions based on the number of outcomes, the probability of those outcomes and the number of trials.
Here are the steps: (I've provided a picture example)
1) Divide the number of outcomes by the number of spins/trials
2) Multiply the quotient by the numerator of the probability you are looking for.
We worked on the questions from the review together.
