Agendas/Morning Meeting
Language: We worked on Lesson 25 in our spelling workbooks. After, we completed our last OWA assessment for this year!
Recess/Lunch
Language:We continued to work on our OWA.
Math: Today we talked about relating units of measurements. This was a difficult concept at first but we worked really hard to understand the circle chart. We first discussed how to each unit relates to each other. How many mm are in a cm and how my cm are in a m and so on. We did a lot of examples of converting units of measures and how to figure out what to divide and multiple by. We used a circle chart (that everyone took home for homework) to help us remember what to multiple and divide our numbers by. If we were having trouble multiplying and dividing we also practiced how to move the decimal place over. It is important to know how much we are multiplying or dividing by when trying to decide how many times and in what direction the decimal is moving over.
We will be practicing this again tomorrow!
Recess/Lunch
Math:We required extra time today to practice these new concepts.
