Language: They finished off their previous letter, self and peer edited and then started on their next one in which they are writing about the rules and routines of an existing game.
Lunch/Recess
Math: Today we worked on measuring area in metres squared. We did some measuring together in the classroom to calculate the area. We figured out the linear dimensions of our classroom.
UOI: Today we talked about forces in nature! The class was split into groups and each group was given a different natural event. They are encouraged to start researching at home about their natural event. Here are some questions to research:
- Find the effects of their natural disaster on the environment, made made environment.
- How can you control this natural event?
- How can people change the effects caused by this natural event?
- Most interesting fact.
