Inquiry into Math: Today
we learned about fractions of a set. We loved this lesson! This talks about the fraction of a set that we want to represent. We did many examples together as a class and then they were able to work on their homework.
We used fractions to represent pictures:

When drawing an array to represent the fraction of a set: the denominator is the rows and the quotient is the columns.
Indoor Recess/Lunch
UOI: We learned about the mystery genre. We discussed the elements of a
mystery and reinforced those elements with our mystery activity! Our
activity centered around the Mysterious Disappearance of the Hippopotamus.
We read the first page out loud and the students set to work
investigating and discovering the setting, plot, and characters involved
in the mystery. Then they traveled around the school reading the suspect teachers' alibis. We had so much fun! The culprit was ..... MS. SAMUEL!
