UOI: They continued working on their rough drafts. We checked in after every paragraph we wrote to ensure we are on the right track.
Recess/Lunch
UOI: We continued working on their summatives.
Then we
talked about adding and subtracting decimals. The students loved these concept! We just
had to remember to line up the decimal point before adding and subtracting. For adding: If the
number equals more than 9 then we have to carry it over the decimal
point. For subtraction: The bigger number must be on the top and to borrow from our neighbors.
It is very important to remember that we have to line up the decimal point and make sure that if there are any empty spaces to fill it in with zeros.
