Morning Meeting/Agendas : We did some reading this morning of different leveled books to continue to improve on our reading skills.

Language: We learned about different figurative language. We reviewed what an alliteration and a hyerbole meant and learned the definition of what a simile, personification and onomatopoeia is. We did quite a few examples as a class and brainstormed different examples of those figurative language terms. The students completed a worksheet where they had to underline all the figurative language terms in a story and then create some of their own.
Recess/Lunch
Math: Today we learned about how to conduct a survey. We spoke about each step in the process together and did a few examples together. The students created 3 surveys each and asked their classmates their survey questions in order to complete them.
