Thursday October 17th, 2019 -- International Day!!!!

Here is what we did today:

International Day!!

This morning we set up our classroom.

We traveled all the classrooms!

Then we showcased our amazing work! Fantastic job Grade 3s, I'm so incredibly proud of all your hard work. Please send me any pictures so I can update this post!

Agenda!

TOMORROW IS OUR FIELD TRIP! Please be here for 8:45am latest as we will be leaving at exactly 9am. Pack a disposable lunch and wear full dress uniform (dress for being outside on a walking tour).

Taking Action

Action is a very significant aspect of the IB learning process.

During each UOI, students from the class will be celebrated as the “Action Stars”, which means that they used what they learned and applied it to the “real world.”

The purpose of this initiative is to help further knowledge about what has been learned within the classroom. Example: If we are learning about recycling, students might go home and tell you that they want to implement a recycling program with you at home, or they may do something simple like telling you that something you were throwing in the garbage may be recycled.

Action comes in many forms; it might be something small to something very large, but as long as the children understand the concepts, action is important no matter the size!
