UOI: We started our new unit! How we organize ourselves, Urban vs Rural! We looked at the three types of communities: Urban, Rural and Suburban. We brainstormed what each meant as a class. We started our lesson by watching two videos that defined and explained the differences between urban, suburban and rural places. Here is the link to the video:

Then we worked on a venn diagram sort with our table groups to create a giant one for our UOI board. After sorting we worked on created a picture representation on each community. Each picture must include a small description. If not completed, it was sent for homework.
