Language: Today we continued our presentations.
Recess/Lunch
Math: Today we learned about making change. We did many examples on the board together. The students were told the cost of an item and had to decide how much change they would get back. We started by counting up from the cents to the nearest dollar and then once they have the nearest dollar how much until the money given.
UOI: We began our new UOI unit! We started with a what we know and want to know chart about the terms urban and rural. We watched a video that defined and explained the differences between urban, suburban and rural places. The students were very excited. We discussed places we know and categorized them with the knowledge we gained from that video.

Re-Registration Packages: Just a reminder, the final due date before we open up vacancies to the public for re-registration is February 12th. Please hand in your packages as soon as possible to ensure your spot.
March Break Camp registration forms were sent home back in October. We have had many students sign up since then and especially the last few days. If you are interested in registering your chid for our amazing March Break camp, please send in the completed registration form, along with the $20 one-time non-refundable deposit in order to secure your child's spot (this could be paid in cash or through fresh books). This year there are two options to chose from the first being lunch and two snacks provided or the second being send your own packed lunch and a discounted camp rate!We also have daily rates available.
