Morning Meeting/Agendas
Language: Today we continued our novel study, "Heidi." We read chapter two and three together and the students answered some comprehension questions as a follow up activity. We began creating a personal student dictionary with words from the novel that we are learning.
Recess/Lunch
Math:. Today we continued to talked about Fractions! We used number lines to help us understand fractions and if the are closer to 0, 1/2 or 1. The number lines were benchmarks to figure out how big the fraction is. Everyone had so much fun writing fractions on the board using the number line. We really understood this concept well! Great job Grade 3s!
Recess/Lunch
UOI: Today we continued to learn about the city of Toronto and learned about the city of Ottawa! The students had to look through a worksheet and find the key words to answer the questions on the organizer. Whatever was not completed will be for homework.

March Break Camp registration forms were sent home back in October. We have had many students sign up since then and especially the last few days. If you are interested in registering your chid for our amazing March Break camp, please send in the completed registration form, along with the $20 one-time non-refundable deposit in order to secure your child's spot (this could be paid in cash or through fresh books). This year there are two options to chose from the first being lunch and two snacks provided or the second being send your own packed lunch and a discounted camp rate!
