UOI: Today we read a wonderful book called "The Little House." We completed worksheets that demonstrate our understanding of the different types of communities.
Recess/Lunch - We had our Pizza Party!
Inquiry into Math: We started the lesson with a review of how to draw the hands on a clock straight. This was very helpful as we made silly mistakes in their homework.
Then we focused on elapsed time. Elapsed time is simply the amount of time that passes from the beginning of an event to its end. We used number lines to help us figure out the time that has passed. We used mountains to demonstrate hours and hills to demonstrate minutes.

Inquiry into Language: We did our Lesson 19 Spelling Test.
