Inquiry into Language: We worked on Lesson 22 in our spelling workbooks and our spelling sentences.
Reading Buddies: We read with our friends in Ms. King's class.
Inquiry into Language: We continued to read our novel study, "Heidi" by Johanna Spyri. We read chapters 7 to 10 together and the students answered some comprehension questions as a follow up activity.
Recess/Lunch
Inquiry into Math: We took up our math review today.
UOI: Today we talked about fishing communities. We read as a class, information on fishing communities. We discussed the importance of Over Fishing and what importance Canada plays in the fishing industries. We discussed the land forms found in fishing communities and made so many connections. It was a great discussion! We summarized the information we read as a class.
Recess/Lunch
Daily 5: They had time to complete their novel study and spelling work.
