Inquiry into Language: We wrote a narrative about the day we woke up and were the size of a cinnamon heart!

Jump Rope for Heart: We had a lot of fun with the fundraiser!
Inquiry into Math: Today we learned about making change. We did many examples on the board together. We started by looking at word problems and breaking them apart to find all the important information. This really helped us understand the question more.
The students were told the cost of an item and had to decide how much change they would get back. We started by counting up from the cents to the nearest dollar and then once they have the nearest dollar how much until the money given.
Recess/Lunch
Valentine's Day Activities: We had a lot of fun doing crafts and handing out treats. They surprised me with the cutest sign!
