Inquiry into Language: Today we completed our Lesson 8 spelling test. Once that was completed, we worked on a worksheet about using periods and abbreviations. We reviewed the rules for using periods and how days and months are abbreviated.

Inquiry into Math: Today we started learning about DIVISION! We learned very important math vocabulary. Here are the terms:
We practiced a couple examples together on labeling division sentences together. Then, we practiced using arrays to find the missing terms. We also did many examples of how to draw a division array. Lastly, we looked for key words in division word problems. For example: share, divide and equal parts. We worked on many worksheets in class and whatever was not completed was sent for homework.
UOI: Ms. Foti's class joined us for our lesson on environmental issues! We discussed what are some examples of environmental issues and watch videos to learn more.
