Inquiry into Math: Today we practiced identifying division word problems. We made a
word bubble that included all the key words we would see in a division word problem. We practiced identifying key words and
numbers in word problem by circling the important information. The
students know that word problems should be answered by showing your
work, writing a division sentence, writing the answer clearly and
finally writing a sentence in words. We did many examples together and
then the students had time to work on the questions independently.Recess/Lunch
Science Fair: We completed our trials and our experiment was a success! We worked really hard to get through so much of our project.
