Inquiry into Math: Today we wrote our Division Quiz and our Number Patterns pre-assessment. Once completed, we silently read.
UOI: Our lesson today was focused on confidence, what makes you unique and never dulling your shine! We had a fabulous discussion on how to bring up your confidence and how to deal with situations where someone is trying to bring you down. We talked about what does it mean to be unique and how important it is that we are all special and different! (We said it would be plain scary if we all walked, talked and liked the same things) We worked on worksheets that will compliment our scrapbook.

Inquiry into Art: The students created Poppy Art work as Remembrance Day is soon approaching. We watched a read aloud about the Poppy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiGXTeiP5Nc&list=PLcdK5SbVPtlYtsluATEv7-Y-_2Rc96scE&index=5&t=317s
We discussed the steps to take to complete the artwork; like how the poppy should be proportionate to the paper and how the background should be a variety of colours (black, grey and newspaper).
Inquiry into Language: For students who finished, they began working on their spelling and cursive workbooks.
