UOI: Today we learned about ADVERSITY! We defined the term as a challenge or hardship that an individual has to over come. We brainstormed a few adversities a person may face, whether they are big or small challenges. We addressed how someone my feel because of a certain adversity.
Science Fair: We decided on our parts and practiced as a class for the judge. Great work, Grade 3s!
Recess/Lunch
UOI: We continued our lesson with a discussion about how everyone reacts differently. We took a look at different situations and brainstormed ways they may impact someone. We made so many connections to different adversities in our own lives. I was so proud that my class felt comfortable and safe to share their connections.
