Here is what we did today:

Inquiry into Math: Today we used our knowledge gained from yesterday to put a pattern into a table of values.
Vocabulary that is important know:
Term Number: The order the numbers present themselves (For example: first, second, third, forth-- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.. etc)
Term Value: The actual numbers in the pattern (For example: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10)
A Table of Values: it is a table -- a t-chart
Pattern rule: are the rules that we use to continue the patterns-- what this number pattern increases or decreases by (ex. Start at 2. Add 3 each time). Sometimes pattern have numbers that increase or decrease by a different number so the Pattern rule would be: Start at ___. Add ___ and increase/decrease the number by __ each time.

We learned that sometimes there can be a relationship between the term number and term value. The pattern rule and relationship are two different things. The term number should always increase or decrease by the same value to show a relationship between the two columns. We did an example together and then in groups we went station to station to solve the questions. Whatever was not completed was for homework. Reminder:  The question responses means answer the questions on that page!

UOI: We continued to work on our scrapbook!

Yoga Workshop: We had a great time at yoga! We learned many different poses, participated in mediation and did some breathing techniques.
