UOI: Today we continued with our lessons on stress! We discussed how to make a plan when you are stressed. We related it back to our coping strategies and how they help us in those situations. We also discussed what was in our control and what are things that are not in our control. They worked on a stress plan as an activity.
Inquiry into Language: We continued our lessons on letter writing. We reviewed how to organize work on a piece of paper (the holes are on the left, line up your sentences on the margin line... etc). Then, we discussed why it is important to state reasons for ever rule we list. We also created success criteria for our letters we write. They practiced writing a letter to a "new teacher" about the rules and routines at our school.
