Wednesday January 22nd, 2020

Here is what we did today:

Inquiry into Language: I listened to everyone's speeches and provided them with feedback. I will have another check in with them next week. Please continue to practice at home.

UOI: We continued to work on our paragraphs for our summatives!

Recess/Lunch

Inquiry into Math: Today we learned about mass and capacity! Mass is used to describe weight or how heavy something is. Capacity is used to describe how much liquid a container can hold. We learned that 1000mL = 1L and that 1000 g= 1 kg. We learned about comparing and describing mass and capacity with different objects as well. For example: a mug would be measured in millilitres because it doesn't hold as much liquid than our 1L glue jug.

Those who were done their work, had fun practicing elapsed time!

French: Please see Mme. Rawan's blog for more detail.

Recess/Lunch

Gym: Please check Ms. Vasconcelos' blog for more detail.
