Another Day Another Pattern

Hello Parents and Guardians,

Here is what we did today, Tuesday September 12, 2017.

Math: We worked on patterns and using a hundreds charts to identify position and number patterns. We explored the questions that were assigned for homework and completed a bunch of examples all together as a class.

UOI/Language: Today we reviewed what a comma is and the uses of a comma in writing. We practiced using commas in our sentence structure through a worksheet.  

Recess/Lunch

UOI: Today we continued to talk about target audiences. The students joined me on the carpet as we went through some examples of advertisements together and talked about what target audience (age range and gender) is it appealing to and what are they selling. They completed an activity that gave them all different target audiences and they had to brainstorm products that would be sold to that specific target audience.

Daily Five: We had 30 minutes of reading alone or with a partner.
