Math:We continued to work on our math test.

Language: They began working on their spelling workbooks. If they completed their work they were able to silently read.

Recess/Lunch

UOI/Language: We started to work on writing a persuasive speech. We looked at transition words as well as persuasive words and phrases. Each sentence should begin with a persuasive word or phrase. You can also add them throughout the speech. We discussed the use of Hooks in persuasive speech and worked on a rough copy of a new topic for a persuasive speech using an OREO outline.

For Homework:

Read for 25 minutes!
