Happy Monday Everyone!

It was great seeing everyone who attended the Welcome Back BBQ!!

Language: We worked on our spelling Lesson 4!

Language: We got in our groups for International Day and began picking our 5-10 important facts for our poster boards.

Recess/Lunch

Daily Five: We continued working on our facts for International Day. We also watched a video of how olive oil is made because it is one of the main exports from Italy.

UOI: Today, we continued working on our PSA. The student practiced in their groups in order to be ready to film the PSA. We were able to film and enjoy everyone’s PSAs.  

Recess/Lunch

Math: We explored Number Lines! On the board we did a couple of examples of number placement (example: what number is in the middle of 100 and 200? 150!) We all gather on the carpet and created a giant number line together! We placed yarn on the ground and then each student had 2 turns to place numbers of different values on the number line. At first, we created a number line from 0-100 and then we wanted to challenge our skills and made a number line from 100-1000!
