Agendas/Morning Meeting

Language: Today we learned about what it means to make an inference! The students guessed the answers to the clues I gave them. They were put in partners to solve an inferencing card. They had to underline the clues to try to solve the question posed. This is a hard concept so it takes a lot of practice! We started to work on a worksheet.
Lunch/Recess
Math: Today reviewed three digit subtracting first. Next we continued with subtracting and practiced subtracting from a 4 digit number. The concepts are the same except the thousands column drops down to the answer. Today we did some examples on the board and then some questions in the textbook.
We need to make sure that if you borrow from a column you write it down and change the number as some people are making silly mistakes because of this.

UOI: Today some people finished their analysis of another advertisement and the rest practiced for their presentation tomorrow:
They should make sure they say:
- What the name of your product?
- What features does your product have (description of the product)?
- What is the name of your company?
- What is the logo?
- What is the slogan?
- What Ad techniques did you use in your ad?
- What are the examples of each technique?
- What colours did you use and why?
- What is the message of your ad?
