Math: We continued to review concepts in order to prepare for our test on Monday.
Recess/Lunch
Inquiry into Language: We completed our Lesson 6 spelling test. Once we completed the test, we continued to work on editing and bumping up our bad letters from yesterday.
UOI: We continue to explore what is a force and what do forces cause. We learned that a force can cause movement. We came up with a few examples of push and pull forces like me pushing my binder from one corner of the desk to the other side. I used my muscular force to move the placement of the binder. The students had to brainstorm 5 questions they had about forces.
Read Aloud: Since we were having such a good day, we had time for a read aloud. We read the book "Thelma the Unicorn." We absolutely loved it! We discussed how important it is to always be yourself and everyone is special in their own way. It was such a heart warming conversation.
