Inquiry into Language: Today we did a creative writing piece! We choose an IB attitude to "award" a friend. They had to write about why they believe their peer deserved the award with examples why. The students were required to write four sentences in order to explain their reasons.
They then worked with a partner to edit and bump up a letter that Ms. Foti wrote to me. We will continue this task tomorrow.
Recess/Lunch
Math: We reviewed how to explain how to solve addition and subtraction equations. We worked on some questions together and then worked independently on the package. They were encouraged to come to me with questions while they were working.

UOI: We explored push and pull forces today! We watched a video that explained what is a force. We came up with everyday examples of push and pull forces. The students looked at a picture of each season and had to identify push and pull forces that they can find. They had to find 10 examples of each.
