UOI: We began to work on our summatives! We started by filling in our graphic organizers. Just a reminder that summatives are to be done only at school.
Recess/Lunch
Math:Today we started the first lesson of our new unit, "Exploring Number Patterns." Today we looked specifically at exploring patterns in a hundreds chart. As you can see, the expectations for communicating number patterns, number rules & position rules are in the chart paper images below. We completed the examples together, having students come up to show the pattern in the hundreds chart, along with write out our rules for those patterns. The terms we use for our position rule & number rule depend on whether a number pattern is increasing or decreasing.
Inquiry into Language: We got into our groups of International and worked on creating more items to represent Brazil! Our board is really coming along! We can't wait to decorate tomorrow!
