Language: We made our classroom expectations together as a class, tomorrow we will be signing it! We played a true or false game but the teacher edition. The students learned some fun facts about me and my family. After we decided to work on the cover of our IB Binders. Once that was complete we worked on an "All About Me" worksheet. We had a lot of fun colouring and filling in the worksheet.
Recess/Lunch
UOI: We started our first Unit of Inquiry, Back to the Past! The students completed a KWL chart on Pioneers. We spoke about what they wondered about when they thought about Pioneers or Early Settlers. We gathered at the carpet and watched a video about Pioneer life. We had a great discussion and made many connections. I set up a scavenger hunt for them to explore fun facts about the pioneer life!
