Language: We continued our Novel Study! "The Little House in the Big Woods" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. We read two chapters and loved the stories about maple syrup!
Library: We had our first library session with Ms. Hayward.
UOI: We participated in an activity with Ms. Foti's class about Trading. We discussed the importance of a fair trade, why they traded and how they traded items. They were put into partners and they had to trade with other pioneers in the class. They had to have one of each item and 300 points! Each item had a point attached to them.
Math:. Today we learned about place value and expanded form addition for 3 and 4 digit numbers. We need to remember to line up the place values and if there is no value in one spot place zeros there to help us line them up correctly (Ex. 2000+000+45+4).
Recess/Lunch
Daily Five: We used this period to catch up on homework.
