Here is what they did today:

French: Please see Mme. Stella's blog for more detail. https://stjudesfrench-stella.blogspot.com

Music: Please see Mr. Flower's blog for more detail. https://flowermusicsja.blogspot.com

Language: We continued our Novel Study! "The Little House in the Big Woods" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. This chapter was very funny! We discussed how we would feel traveling in the big woods all alone at night and how important it was to hunt as a pioneer.

Recess/Lunch

UOI:  We participated in an activity with Ms. Foti's class about hunting, tracking and trapping. The students were put into groups and had to follow the paw prints that were assigned to them. There were 5 sets of paw prints that led to all different animals. We had five fantastic teachers act as our animals and wait to be found in their classrooms by our Grade 3 Pioneers! The paw prints were hidden throughout the PYP section of the school. We had such a fantastic time tracking and hunting down our animals.

Math:. Today we practiced our addition by 3 and 4 digit numbers with a fun activity called "Scoot!" Each student had one minute exactly to complete an addition question before I yelled "SCOOT" and they had to move to the next station. We loved it and were begging to play again!
