Language: Today we completed a writing activity about their goals and expectations for Grade 3. They we able to write about the subjects they enjoy, the books they like to read and what their teacher can do to help them this year. Once that was complete, they were able to go to the reading corner and choose a book to read.

Math: Today we did our pre-assessment for our new math unit.
House Game: Theta won all the activities.
Recess/Lunch
UOI: We learned all about "Who Were the Early Pioneers!" Together as a class we read parts of the worksheet and made amazing connections. The children were able to discuss how difficult it was for the pioneers and what has changed now about traveling and our lifestyles. We spoke about how people were not as kind to each other and could have helped each other meet their needs. They completed comprehension questions with a partner or in group.
